About

Hi, I’m Brooke!

I work with people and organizations who are navigating transition and asking deeper questions about how current systems shape everyday life. My work centers thoughtful design and strategy grounded in people, place, and purpose, with emphasis on listening, clarity, and future thinking.

I am drawn to the spaces beneath the surface, where assumptions take root and decisions begin to form. Before plans or solutions, I focus on understanding the lived experience, relationships, and the conditions influencing behavor. This approach helps bring coherence to situations that feel tangled or uncertain.

My background spans design, strategy, and place-based work across public, nonprofit, and community context. Over time, this work has evolved into a living practice that integrates writing, teaching, and advisory engagements. These pieces inform one another, creating space to think carefully about how decisions are made and how systems can better reflect the people within them.

I believe meaningful work begins with empathy and attention. When people feel see and heard within the systems they inhabit, better decisions become possible. This site is where I share my thinking as my practice continues to unfold.
