Inscape
The inner essence of a person, place, or thing. Inscape reflects identity, values, memory, purpose, and emotional meaning beneath visible systems.
Micro
The level of close relationships, including household, family, neighbors, and daily lived experience. This level reveals patterns of care, trust, and behavior.
Mesa
The organizational layer of systems, including businesses, institutions, teams, and structured decision-making environments.
Macro
The broader community context including economy, culture, environment, infrastructure, and civic life.
Meta
The level of patterns, paradigms, and belief systems that shape what is considered possible across a society or system.
Food Well-Being
A framework that considers food access, literacy, culture, health, and social connection as interconnected components of well-being.
Creative Placemaking
The practice of using art and culture to shape the physical and social character of a place while strengthening community identity.
Systems Thinking
An approach to understanding how parts of a system interact, focusing on relationships, patterns, and long-term effects rather than isolated components.
Awareness
The starting point of Rooted Methodology. Awareness involves noticing what is present, what is missing, and what is beneath the surface of a system.
